Dance Under Construction at The Drum

Dance Under Constuction is a new monthly initiative set up by The Drum & ADAD to encourage, support, nurture and develop new dance productions by black dancers and choreographers.

Three events have been lined up for the inaugral season:

Describing the first event, the press release says:

Tap Lyrical Journey by Imani Jendai is an autobiographical solo using tap, African and Caribbean rhythms as well as spoken word and video projection. Untitled by Keisha Grant is an idiosyncratic movement piece based on Contemporty and African dance
